Books
One of the first Westerners to meet Babaji, Gaura remained almost continually with Him in India from 1972-1984. Her diary of those years, is a unique, challenging and remarkable story. It is an amazing insight into life with Babaji and His teachings. A must read for all.
A comprehensive and informative book about the two most recent manifestations of Babaji. It includes chapters on His message, the yoga forms which He considered most appropriate for this age, and stories from devotees of their divine experiences with Babaji.

JAPA
From the Teachings of Babaji :Sri Mahaprabhuji wishes that all words would disappear from this world, except for three - Om Namah Shivaya. This is the original mantra. When Primordial Energy first appeared, the first mantra that She uttered from Her Holy mouth was Om Namah Shivaya"
"The mind can be purified by japa. While your mind and heart are impure, how can God live in your heart? The water to clean the heart is the name of God. Teach everyone to repeat the divine name"
"Simran" is a term which means "Remembrance", the spiritual practice of remembering or being mindful of God by repeating his Name. Devotees sing or chant various names for God. Higher spiritually, and more "within" is the practice of "manas jap", the mental repetition of God's name or names "with the tongue of thought" - in other words, chanting names of God within one's mind.
